How Caribbean Data Hub collects, uses and protects your personal data.
Data controller
Caribbean Data Hub, headquartered in Paris, France, is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. For any question about your data, write to contact@caribbeandatahub.com.
Data we collect
We only collect the data you voluntarily send us through the contact form: name, organisation, email address and message content.
We also collect technical data strictly necessary to operate and secure the site: IP address, browser type and pages viewed.
Purposes and legal bases
Contact form data is used to answer your request and, where relevant, to follow up on the commercial relationship. The legal bases are your consent and the legitimate interest of Caribbean Data Hub in responding to enquiries.
Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and functioning correctly.
Recipients
Your data is processed by the Caribbean Data Hub team. It is hosted and transmitted by our technical providers, who act as processors and do not use your data for any other purpose:
- Cloudflare, for site hosting and bot protection (Turnstile).
- Resend, for delivering emails sent from the contact form.
Your data is never sold, rented or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
Retention
Requests received through the contact form are kept for three years from the last exchange. Technical data is kept for a maximum of twelve months.
Cookies
The site only uses cookies strictly necessary for its operation and security, including those set by the bot verification. No advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers are used.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port the data concerning you.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@caribbeandatahub.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure: encrypted transport, restricted access and logging.
Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to applicable regulations. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
